what is Myopia?

Myopia, also known as “near-sighted” or “short-sighted”, is a progressive visual disorder resulting in poor distance vision. Myopia also changes the physical structure of the eye. These changes increase the risk of future eye disease. Myopia is one of the leading causes of blindness around the world and has a direct association with retinal detachments and glaucoma.

what is Myopia Management?

Myopia management consists of three treatment options that can help slow the progression of myopia. Orthokeratology, Soft Multifocal Contacts and Atropine are treatments that reduce stress and fatigue associated with the development and progression of nearsightedness.
